Do you want to expand the look of stylized 3D worlds that millions of players will explore and share? As a Visual Development Artist with an exceptional eye for shape, charm, and character-driven design, you’ll turn ideas into crystal-clear concepts of charming characters, expressive toy-like props, and playful environments that define our premium toy-logic aesthetic. Here, the work is the reward — original IPs, meaningful impact, and creative freedom inside a clear artistic vision.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll turn sparks into worlds: taking themes, moodboards, or quick notes and transforming them into clear, irresistible concepts ready for 3D.
You’ll explore shapes, silhouettes, props, characters, environments — whatever brings Stories to Life.
You’ll iterate fast, refine with taste, and use AI as a tool to accelerate exploration — then refine, paint over, correct style, and bring everything to SUBARA quality standards. Your concepts will be the blueprint for 3D production.
You’ll help supervise 3D assets to ensure the final models preserve the intent, charm, and chunky clarity of your concepts — creating designs that feel instantly iconic.

You generate ideas confidently in Photoshop — variations, moods, poses, props — and you know how to explain them so a 3D artist nails them without guesswork.
You have a strong background in concept art and aren’t afraid to explore directions no one has tried yet.
You’re curious, bold, and enjoy AI tools to accelerate exploration — your eye, your judgment, and your taste make the final call.
Your work balances charm and clarity: expressive but practical, cute but intentional, simple but iconic.
